Vikings’ QB Teddy Bridgewater speaks after ACL tear

Earlier this week the Minnesota Vikings announced that Teddy Bridgewater has suffered a torn ACL and will sit out the entire 2016 NFL season. Without a starting quarterback the Vikings could look to getting Mark Sanchez from the Denver Broncos

Players were visibly distraught as they exited the field, some hurling expletives into the air.

“Every time I think about going to see him in the hospital, how he still had that “Teddy B” smile, how he was still making jokes, how he was like, ‘Man, I’m going to be OK, ‘ it put a smile on my face”, cornerback Captain Munnerlyn said.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) – A last-minute appeal in the National Football League concussion case is sending the proposed settlement to the U.S. Supreme Court and delays payouts for at least several months.

“We went to try to cheer him up, but he was already cheerful”, Vikings guard Alex Boone said.

“This would just start out the year the way that we have been in the last couple of years just bad luck keeps on rolling with us”, Noble said.

Sullivan’s eight-year tenure with the team ended with his release Tuesday after 12-year veteran Joe Berger was declared the victor of the starting job and the Vikings weren’t able to make a trade work for a player who missed last season because of a back injury.

Several players threw their helmets and shouted expletives as they scattered, and many simultaneously dropped to one knee in prayer. He’s been in 2-minute drills.

The Vikings host the Los Angeles Rams in their final preseason game Thursday night, though Bridgewater and most of the starters were not expected to play.

The team had hoped Bridgewater was prepared to take a major step forward in his third year in the NFL. He missed the second preseason game with a shoulder issue, but featured on Sunday against San Diego.

Spielman values draft picks very highly and likely won’t give up any high to mid-round picks in a trade for a replacement quarterback. The Vikings were not only probably the favorites to repeat as division champions in the NFC North, they were also considered to be a legitimate contender to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

“This is about the team”.

1 – Just don’t say anything about the Vikings.

“Hopefully we’re talking about Teddy the same way next year at this time”, he said. But this is about the team. We here at Pride Of Detroit also wish him a quick and full recovery. The two up-and-coming teams will be showcasing their young talent and trying to figure out who will stay with the team, who will make the practice squad, and who will be moving on.
