The CW renewed all of their DC shows, again

The CW has kept the drama to a minimum when it comes to the DC superhero shows that decorate a large part of their schedule by offering early renewals to the multitude of series now airing on the network.

No surprise here, but Supernatural has just been renewed for yet another season. With the response from Ackles, fans have nothing to worry about.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin also returning for new seasons. Look forward to us continuing our recaps and open-thread sections on each of these during the 2017-2018 TV season!

We already know that Reign and The Vampire Diaries are ending this season.

Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW, shared the companies philosophy behind renewing the programs this soon in a statement. This season pushed it past The CW’s previous longest-running show, 7th Heaven, which also stood as The WB’s longest-running show with 11 seasons.
