Of all the songs Taylor Swift could have chosen to dance along to, it happened to be ex boyfriend Calvin Harris’s This Is What You Came For – the single at the centre of their post-breakup argument.

One may guess that if Swift is back in the studio, she’s there to work on the follow-up to 2014’s hit album 1989 – but no such details have been confirmed.

In July, Swift revealed that she actually wrote the lyrics and melody to the Rihanna-sung song under the alias Nils Sjoberg.

With Gigi opening his show on Friday night at the former South Street Seaport, wearing leather trousers and a trim military jacket, followed by a long lineup that was filled with easy-to-digest nautical designs (repeated with a finale of twinned looks for emphasis), Hilfiger was speaking in a clear voice for consumerism.

Taylor Swift has been in the studio working on new music, according to her close pal Gigi Hadid. That show was INSANE. “Congrat to Gi, Tommy and all the girls who just owned that runway!” she wrote. Since the split, Harris has repeatedly called Swift and her p.r. camp out via social media for making him out to be the villain. I can not believe this at all…. thank you so much, Taylor….me and my sister are smiling so hard… In fact, being the good friend she is, Taylor cheered and filmed pretty much the whole event, then shared this picture of herself looking totally calm during the show. The Hiddleswift union had come quickly after her break-up from British DJ Calvin Harris, a split which appeared to turn ugly right after her rebound. “Obviously I couldn’t have asked for a better platform to start with than the Tommy Hilfiger brand”.

“It felt like things were piling on top of me and that was when I snapped”. It took me a minute to realize that none of that matters. “Bad Blood” is allegedly about her feud with fellow pop icon Katy Perry; “Dear John” is said to be about her one-time lover John Mayer; and “We Are Never Ever, Ever Getting Back Together” is rumored to be about the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. “I’m a positive guy”.
