A COLLEGE tyro from California has prisoner a terrifying impulse he was pounded by a good white shark while spearfishing off a seashore of Santa Barbara.

Tyler McQuillen, 22, was fishing with friends in shoal H2O during Refugio Point on Sep 1 when he was strike in a behind by a beast shark, that is believed to have been tighten to four-metres.

He primarily suspicion his friends were personification a pretence on him by pulling during his fin, not realising a shark had in fact bitten dual of his toes.

Mr McQuillen quickly mislaid hold of his speargun though managed to collect it before a shark came back.

He jabbed a quadruped with a gun and swam behind to shore, evading with dual damaged toes, a break to his right feet and a implausible GoPro footage.

“I got that on video. Wooo, f—ing gnarly,” Mr McQuillen pronounced when he surfaced.
