Recognising the celebrations, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak took to Twitter today to wish Christians in the country a “Happy Easter”.

“In addition, we urge all Christians in Nigeria to use the Easter celebrations to reflect and pray for Nigeria’s continuous unity and peaceful coexistence”, Makarfi said in a statement signed by the committee’s spokesman, Prince Dayo Adeyeye.
